Laura Garza is a 25 year old woman with dreams of becoming a dancer. She was last seen Wednesday, December 3rd 2008, entering the car of 23 year old Michael Mele, a sex offender. She met him at a bar and has not been seen since then. Mele was jailed on Saturday for violating his six year probation due to sex offenses. He drank at a bar, did not see is probation officer, and skipped on sex offender sessions. His offenses include lewdness under the watch of a 13 year old child. When police searched his home, a machete, blood, and a woman's shoe was found according to police. Mele also had bite marks and scratches on his body as if he had been in a fight of some kind. Police also noticed a significant amount of bleach in is home used to clean up the mess. People like Michael Mele need to stay behind bars and people like you should help with the prevention of these issues.

This blog is important because it make women aware of what could happen to them when not careful. Well put together website.
Stories like this one do not receive enough attention. Sex offenders are real and can be lethal. We sometimes forget that they are out there and sometimes need to be reminded. Stories such as this should be publicized more. This is the first I am hearing of this and makes me think that people just don't care
