How to keep your children safe from sexual predators
According to the FBI, child abuse and crimes against children are on the rise. Your child is heading out for pure Halloween fun and could find themselves in a large crowd or the company of new friends, acquaintances or strangers. Did you know, 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually assaulted before they reach their 18th birthday and that the median age is 10 Years Old?

This topic is really important, because children are our most vulnerable citizens.

There needs to be consequences these aweful actions. Children should be protected in safe school abd home environments. People need to be repramanded in order to contain this problem.
i think that this is a very important message to get across and people should really protect their children from the creaps out there.
It's really sad that we can't trust each-other as a human race to not do such immoral things such as raping or sexually abusing a child. I would not allow my child to go with anyone alone or without an adult because of the frightening things people are willing to commit.

:O This statistic is astonishing! It makes me wonder if the number of sexual assaults on children have always been this high. And if it has not, what recently caused the number of assaults to increase?

These statistics are frightening. I don't understand why people would moleste young children and why sex offenses are such a problem. One of my friends, which will remain anonymous, was molested as a child. She did not know this until the guy told her the stuff he had done to her for the memories was vague so she was unsure of what had happened as she grew up. The man was related to her. She can barely talk about it today. How can people do this sort of thing?

this topic is very important and very scary. Kids should be very careful of who they talk to on the internet;you never if you are talking to another teenager or talking to an older adult.

This fact is truly scary as to how bad the rate is. 1 in 5 girls before 18years old is horrible. The worst part is that the child molesters and inhuman people are not punished more severly. If they were i think that the rate would go down a little.
